Under Tracy Fields, I excelled in a dynamic role, showcasing strong leadership and physical skills. I navigated complex tasks and unforeseen challenges, leveraging time management and team collaboration to deliver exceptional results. My proactive approach and ability to organize peers underscored my commitment to excellence and adaptability.
I was in charge of a multitude of tasks. My coworkers consisted of multiple college and high school students. Our daily tasks depended on the location of the day. Sometimes we would spend the whole 6-7 hour day in a single location such as a fraternity or sorority. Other days we would jump from place to place completing miscellaneous tasks. My tasks were comprised of many different duties including mudding and painting walls, moving and setting furniture throughout the houses, mopping and vacuuming, changing light bulbs, taking out trash, and yard work which included power washing, taking apart structures, and raking. With such a wide range of tasks our days rarely went as planned and we were always in a time crunch with the new school year approaching rapidly. We consistently had to work around others and listen to instructions from house moms and dads that contradicted what our boss had asked for us to do. These situations forced me to develop creative problem solving strategies and take all of the opinions of my coworkers into consideration when deciding on a solution. I was quite a bit younger than some of my coworkers and I was able to stay calm in unfavorable situations. Due to the various sports I play I was comfortable in a leadership role and know how to keep calm in high pressure situations. I was physically stronger than my coworkers and expected to do the more strenuous jobs that required heavy lifting. I always do my best and lead by example.
I have gone to sectionals and regionals multiple times as a team with both football and bowling. I have also gone to sectionals and regionals multiple times as an individual in track and field throwing shot put. I excel as a student that both juggles school and sports.
