  • October 2015 to December 2017 I was assigned to the Emergency Response Unit where I patrolled assigned areas to detect and prevent criminal activity. I was responsible for, and a part of, numerous arrests within the City of Hoboken relating to criminal offenses such as narcotics, aggravated assaults, and burglaries. During that time I responded to various calls regarding all different types of crimes that ranged from city ordinances to First Degree crimes such as armed robberies and shootings. From January 2018 to February 2019 I was assigned to the Detective Bureau where I conducted general investigations ranging from simple assaults to shootings. During that time I began to understand criminal investigations, strategies, and received the proper training on how to conduct those investigations. During that time I was the lead investigator for a shooting in July of 2018 and a Narcotics Investigation in January 2019 with the recovery of illicit narcotics and a firearm. Both of which were in the Hoboken Housing Authority and all of those responsible were charged according to State law.

  • In March 2019, while still assigned to the Detective Bureau, I was elevated to the rank of Detective and assigned shield number D-42. During this time I was assigned to the Financial Crimes Unit, Major Crimes Unit, and Burglary Unit. I became proficient in writing search warrants and their applications. These search warrants were for communications data, vehicles, and residential homes. I continued to receive numerous trainings and certifications. I also learned to build a network of law enforcement officers in the municipal, county, state, and federal levels. I was the lead detective on numerous high-profile cases such as a stabbing in September 2021, a shooting in October 2021, a robbery in November 2021, a carjacking with a shooting in March 2022, and a carjacking in January 2024, all of which lead to arrests for those responsible. I also conducted special assignments with the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics and Homicide Divisions, Homeland Security Investigations, United States Marshalls, New Jersey State Police, and numerous municipal Police Departments.
