Directly supervise probation officers, ensuring investigative and supervision services are provided in accordance with Florida Statutes and departmental rules.

Review and approve all correspondence and investigations for quality, accuracy and content, per departmental policy and procedure.

Distribute and review workloads of officers ensuring consistent and uniform enforcement of supervision orders.

Review officer compliance with field supervision standards in accordance with department policy and protocol.

Conduct initial, quarterly, semi-annual, annual, special, and pre-termination reviews on individual cases.

Evaluate employee performance and develop performance improvement plans if as necessary.

Maintain liaison with the judiciary, law enforcement, treatment providers, and various agencies.

Demonstrate sensitivity to public and victim needs.

Supervised individuals placed on various levels of supervision, to include probation, drug offender probation, community control, and high risk sex offender probation, to ensure compliance with all court imposed conditions.

Reported non-compliance of probationers to the court

Prepared and maintained probationer case files.

Represented the department in court proceedings.

Referred probationers to the necessary resources within the community.
