Hardworking Powder Coat Painter with excellent knowledge of viscosity, paint flow and coating quality. Focused employee observant of machinery issues impacting projects. Excellent maintenance and repair knowledge gained during 33-years of my life. I have a passion for "turning wrenches" so to speak, and I would do just about anything for a chance to have a real career doing what I'm passionate about.
Ar this job I had to either move the parts from the rack to the booth for the painter, then push the rack into an oven or paint. I had to make sure to evenly coat parts without making it too thick. Keep my space and my gun clean.
I jumped around to almost every base position you could apply to and worked in each spot for a year or two. On the Vizion line I needed to inspect parts, stack them, send them to get wrapped and add the proper labels. On the auto welder I had to work fast pase putting parts into a machine while it welded the last parts I put in together and running checks on the parts I pull out before sending on its way. I ran the forge line for a while and then went up to CNC where I still worked fast pase and had to do measurements adjust my own machines, keep an entire area clean. I worked a few other positions there too while trying to climb up.
This job I was allowed as much Ot as I wanted so I showed at 3am or 4am got the oven, chain, and booths started and began hanging jobs that my coworkers prepared the night before. I ran 2 booths at once when they installed the second booth, priming and then coating the pats at the same time before they went through the oven.
I'm skilled in many thing but I don't think myself an expert on any I've always been good at fixing things and I've only gotten better at problem solving the older I get I always believe there's more I can learn and I'm always very eager to do it I catch on fast and for the most part, only need to be shown something once I been waiting my whole life for a chance to get a good job position somewhere and have three kids I don't feel like I get to do anything for, and that's only driving me to try harder I was always told, work hard and you get moved up But never had the fortune to work for a place willing to give someone this chance without proof I've already done it for years
