- Instruct production employees in properly performing tasks on the production line
- Support other members of the production team when problems arise
- Work with Quality and Engineering to trouble shoot and correct issues with parts and processes
- Properly restart processes after interruptions and shut downs
- Validate the process is running within required parameters by inspecting parts during pre-production, normal production, after tool changes and other process interruptions
- Verify and adjust in-process gages and measuring machines as required to ensure the process is running within the defined parameters and producing parts within specification
