I pride myself on achieving goals; a goal is not a destination, yet a springboard to the future or next level. I set daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals. I do the research, implement a plan, and do the work necessary to achieve such. However, if I don't, I analyze where I lacked and correct myself.

As a Salesman, each Month everyone starts the same. It's what the individual does that dictates how he finishes. You can't work the schedule if you want to be the best. It takes dedication, long hours coming in on your day off sometimes, because that's the only time the customer can make it in.
And let's face it, we have to be available for them and not vice versa. It's knowing your product and the competition as well as your inventory, especially used or pre-owned. What's in reconditioning or the shop? What just got traded or dropped off by transportation? And of course, follow up and ask for referrals, you have earned the right to do so. These are some of the many steps I take as I walk the journey to "SALESMAN OF THE MONTH."
