07.2025 - Current

In my first year as the Assistant Track & Field Coach at South Florence High School, I served as the Mid-Distance and Distance Coach and helped transform that event group into one of the program's strengths. After the program recorded no notable achievements in these events the previous season, my athletes earned a Boys 3200m Region Championship, Boys 4x800 Relay Runner-Up, Boys 4x400 Relay Runner-Up, Girls 3200m Region Runner-Up, Girls 4x800 Relay Third Place, and Girls 800m Third Place at the Region Championships. Those same groups advanced to the District Championships, with the Boys 4x400 Relay qualifying for the SCHSL State Championships. In addition to coaching the distance program, I assisted with the sprint, hurdle, and jumps groups, contributing to the development of a State Champion in the High Jump and a State Champion in the hurdles. As a former Head Track & Field Coach, I continually looked for opportunities to strengthen the overall program while respecting my role as an assistant and supporting teams collective success.
