Have extensive experience creating partnerships with Law Enforcement, County Prosecutor’s Office, Hospital Systems, and other governmental agencies to create collaborative solutions to complex medical and social issues. Currently working with the county health department in Project DAWN for opioid addiction services. Numerous call outs teamed with law enforcement to assist with mental health response.
  • Hold current Ohio Fire Life Safety Inspector, and Fire Investigator certifications. Knowledgeable in Ohio Fire Code, NFPA standards, and International Fire Code. Have led investigations into fire origin and cause, and have successfully prosecuted incendiary fire cases.
  • Head the Division’s CISM team, and work as part of a regional response for critical incidents throughout western Ohio
  • Serve in special operations capacity as Public Safety Diver. Trained to operate in no visibility environments and Ice for rescue and recovery. Certified as Level II Rope Technician, Swift Water Technician, Power Boat Operations as member of Upper Scioto Water Rescue Task Force. This Type I EMAC Team responds to swift water rescues, floods, and hurricanes regionally and nationally.
  • Have routinely rode out of class as shift officer, and has experience as initial incident commander on multiple fire, technical rescue, and EMS assignments. Multiple Deployments with Swift Water Rescue Team
