Work History

Cashier and Service Desk Employee

Kmart
02.2015 - 11.2015
  • My responsibilities were to ensure the cash registers were neat, organized, looked good for the customers, and to ring up the customers
  • At the service desk, I would take calls from customers, handle returns, layaway payments, and Western Union payments.
  • Addressed user customer service concerns and decided when to escalate problems to specialist team members.

  • ACY5, amazon
  • My job was a waterspider where I oversaw pulling pallets, wrapping them, transporting them, and replacing the pallets
  • I had a total of 101 locations I had to monitor, and my position directly affected the flow of the lane and building
  • I was promoted to a Process Guide (PG) which meant I had one side of the building where I had to monitor the flow of volume and had to make attrition movements to keep the volume running lean.
  • Worked safely around moving machinery.

  • Assembled orders and packed items for shipment, conveying orders to shipping personnel

Shift Assistant

Target

  • My job in ICQA is to audit the building for errors and come up with ways to stop the errors from happening again
  • This is done through cycle counts, ASN verifications, and researching outbound collates
  • Essentially what I do is find any mistakes inbound creates, track it through the warehouse, and fix it before it gets picked and shipped to the customer
  • We are the last line of defense before the product reaches the customer, so my job is a fast-paced role that requires a lot of attention to detail to thrive
  • I am now the lead trainer in my department across all four shifts and have to train any new ICQA team members and the backups to bring them up to speed on the process
  • I am also a trainer of PIT equipment and train new team members on all machines.
