  • Supervise an in-house quality team, conducting 100% inspection of documentation, and physical inspection of all PMA parts received.
  • Collaborated with internal and external customers to identify projects, gather business case data, and manage reverse engineering processes, including dimensional analysis, and CAD model and drawing creation.
  • Prepared reports summarizing project planning and progress, purchase order and delivery updates of products, current inspection department workload, and expected completion of the product. Provide a weekly update of MRB products and the resolution path.

During my 11-yr employment, I worked my way up from Structure shop A&P technician to Chief Inspector / Quality manager of this MRO. Positions held and timeline below. Several jobs overlapped, our company employed 40 people and required several of the management personnel to wear multiple “hats” to stay efficient.

· 2004- Shop Inspector- verified work was accomplished per FAA approved requirements.

· 2005- Manufacturing Manager- Implement processes for fabrication of parts used for internal repairs as well as contract manufacturing for Hawker Beechcraft. All work was accomplished per FAA requirements and oversight as required.

· 2008- Research and Development Manager - The position required developing a process to reverse engineer specific parts including material and process typing, Drawing Implementation CAD, Identifying and approving of suppliers by ISO standards.

· 2008- Internal ISO Auditor- ISO9001, AS9100, AS9110, AS9120 AND ISO14001

· 2008- LEAN and 5S Instructor- Program initiative to have at least 4 people from all companies under the BBA umbrella attend and flow down to their facility the concepts of LEAN and 5S.

· 2010-2012 Lead Internal Auditor - ISO 9001, AS 9100, AS 9110, AS 9120, and ISO 14001.

· 2012- Quality Manager, Chief Inspector and Accountable Manger

· Duties included were:

o Responsible for all FAA and ISO regulatory requirements and communications with said entities. Updating of all QMS and FAA manuals

o Authority to make final Airworthy decisions and issue 8130-3 approvals on all parts, components, and assemblies covered under the repair station FAA approved operations specifications.

o Upkeep of all maintenance and manufacturing documentation to ensure all work performed met current standards of compliance and regulations

o Charged with oversight of annual Internal ISO audits and 3rd party audits for accreditation.
