Branch Court Services

Supervised investigators assigned to felony trial preparation, managed surveillance technical unit, prepared monthly statistical reports, prepared staff scheduling, managed purchasing budget for audio and technical equipment, prepared investigative resources for legal staff, participated in conducting oral interviews for perspective investigator applicants, conducted background and internal investigations. Reviewed and evaluated investigative reports, manage staffing budget, completed employee performance evaluations.

DNA Unit

Supervised investigators assigned to investigate DNA cold hit investigations involving rapes, robberies, home invasions, and property crimes. Managed DNA purchasing budget, coordinated and implemented investigative resources for legal staff and local law enforcement agencies. Created the first responder's DNA collection training for Orange County Agencies. Participated in case settlement conferences with legal staff.

Family Protection Unit

Supervised investigators assigned to investigate domestic violence, child abduction, child abuse, and elder abuse. Managed staffing budget, provided investigative training for local law enforcement agencies. Identify and quickly resolve problems, prepared employee evaluations, conducted background and internal investigations.

Auto Insurance Fraud

Supervised investigators assigned to investigate auto insurance fraud. Conducted staff scheduling, employee evaluations, investigative assistance and guidance. Managed staffing budget and assisted in authoring state grant for unit.
