Dedicated coach with proven success interacting with players and managing baseball games. Quick, effective decision-making skills remaining neutral without bias. Effectively guides players by adhering to rules and regulations set forth by the NCAA.
In addition to my coaching duties, I work to build alumni relations with former SSU baseball players through social media and alumni day events. I also coordinate our Fall Ball program for local high school players.
Prior to my coaching duties I was a student-athlete for Sonoma State in 1999 and 2000. I also competed for Cardinal Newman High School in Santa Rosa (1991-1994) as well as Santa Rosa Junior College (1996-1997).
In my first year at SSU, I led the team with a 2.15 ERA in ten appearances and helped the program win the first CCAA championship in 1999. As a senior in 2000, I was second on the team with 12 starts. In two seasons I compiled a 6-3 record with a 3.66 ERA for Head Baseball Coach, John Goelz
Following the 2000 season, I signed a professional contract to play for the Feather River Mudcats.
