Retiring from the active duty Air Force after 27 years of service, Chaplain Colonel Mike Newton brings a wealth of experience. As the Command Chaplain, Headquarters Air Mobility Command (AMC), he played a crucial role in ensuring spiritually-fit Airmen were prepared to execute and support rapid global mobility and sustainment operations for America's armed forces. Dedication to the chaplain role is evident through previous positions at the Air Force Chaplain Corps College, serving as an instructor, course director, curriculum developer, and later as Commandant. With 32 years of experience as an ordained minister in the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Mike is well-equipped to teach, provide mentorship, and support to individuals from diverse backgrounds. Alongside spouse Penny, a public educator, they have raised three successful children: Sam, Olivia, and Jack.
