
Maintain & operate surface water treatment plant and associated distribution system. Including tasks such as chemical dosage, repacking pumps, lab analysis, data entry, MOR's, collect quotes, correspondence with engineers on plant & infrastructure improvements, flushing hydrants, water main locates, oversee new main install and new service line install inspections, meter changeouts, sample collection (TTHM's & HAA5's), and many other unlisted assigned tasks.
Maintain & operate and insure proper function of the waste water treatment facility and its remote lift stations. Job duties also include ground maintenance, preventative maintenance, and corrective maintenance of any and all equipment such as UV disinfection banks, rag boxes, generators, pumps, reducers, drives, valve operation, compressors, clarifiers, RBC's, rotary drum, conveyor, boiler, and etc. Job roles also included setting & collecting both composite and grab samples as well as lab calibration, analysis of all samples, and documentation.
Plant chores such as ph, hardness, alkalinity, & etc. also the job entails service orders for customers, locates, water quality checks in distribution, special sampling, and maint. of equipment entailed with the job
