Good day! Thank you for taking the time to consider for me this position, I am excited about the opportunity. Here is a short summary about me, and a high-level view of my skills and abilities. First and foremost, family is the most important aspect of my life. I am originally from Maine, but have lived in numerous places spanning from Alaska to Georgia. I joined the Untied States Army in June of 2001. I am a proud Combat Veteran and served with distinction in support of Operation Enduring Freedom shortly after the 9/11 tragedies. I continued to serve in a variety of duty positions for nearly 13 years that I feel give me a unique advantage over other candidates as I progress in my 2nd career as an electrical engineer. I am ambitious, always eager to learn, and advance in the same fashion as I did during my military service. I am looking for an employer who shares my values, and puts its people first. I am also looking for a quality mentor, who is willing to learn and grow with me - I feel this relationship is a 2-way street, not one born out of selfishness or demand. My best qualities are built out appreciation, professionalism, and respect. I would bring these qualities to any organization only improve a positive existing culture, where everyone feels as a valued member of the team. I believe great leadership provides three key principles: Purpose, direction, and motivation. Great leaders adapt, and understand how to get the best out of people to accomplish the mission. Understanding when and how to apply these directives is key. As a leader, I would never ask someone to do anything I was not wiling to do myself - and I would expect the same out of my leaders. I look forward to this opportunity and speaking with you more about how this relationship could grow for the better of us and the organization. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to discuss more, thank you
