I currently play live poker fulltime and had no intention of working for anyone else ever again. I made this resume because I saw Marc's post on the Hungry Horse instagram page. Over the last year I've consumed all of his poker content and it has dramatically impacted by game. My hourly $2/$5 win rate has moved from 6 to more than 12 bbs per hour and I attribute a lot of the success to Marc's concepts. I have a strong sales background and I can sell anything I believe in. I know poker players because I am one. I would run through walls to work for Marc Goone. Bet it on me, let it ride.

To find the most profitable $2/$5 and $5/$10 live NL Hold 'Em games and play them long and regularly enough to justify time away from my family and travel expenses. I mostly play at Playground in Montreal, Parx in Bensalem, PA, and Borgata in Atlantic City, NJ. Over the last 3 years I've succesfully managed a bankroll and developped a win rate of 12 big blinds per hour while buildling many relationships within the poker community.
Worked entirely independently and remotely re-selling ADT security services on a residential door-to-door basis. Was entirely responsible for generating leads, managing territory, developping a follow up system, prospecting, presenting, and closing. Was a top producer closing 15 deals per month on a seasonal basis while utilizing my own scriipts and sales systems. Negotiated financing terms with customers and managed installations with techs daily. Unfortunately the seasonal nature of this position made it extremly difficult in the northeast.
Took a small seasonal hobby business earning $30,000 per year installing primarily residential seasonal Christmas lights and decorations to a $2.5 million dollar a year legitimate company. All sales and prospecting flowed exclusively through me for 5 years resulting in our average residential decorating job moving from $700 to $3800. Provided consultations and lighting and decorating designs to residential and commercial customers while growing a business rapidly and increasing profit margins by more than 200% Also significantly expanded our business into the commercial space by cold prospecting and closing several large chains of businesses and commercial shopping plazas.
Created a weekly latin dance event featuring live instruction for salsa, merengue, bachata, and cha cha. Hired and managed dance instructors, DJs, live bands, and bartenders while negotiating terms with bar and restuarant owners that ran succesfully for 10 years. Generated $5,000 a month in consistent profit while bringing an average of 100 people to an event through online and social media promotions. Worked the door as a bouncer throughout the entire period the event ran. Helped to significantly increase the appreciation for and awareness of latin dance and music in the Albany area.
Created a team of 50 telemarketers working off of an autodialer who transferred live calls to Mortgage Loan Officers. Began from scratch with a phone, pen, and piece of paper and developped scripts, rebuttals, and systems to manage leads and data for and entire branch of a mortgage company. Successfully created leads which closed hundreds of loans worth over $50 million in loan value over a one year period until our company was sold to another company which prohibited telemarketing as a means of lead generation. Then began a new career as a mortgage loan officer handling warm leads and closing loans immediately following the company restructure. Was promoted to Loan Officer Manager within one month and began recruiting other loan officers nationwide to work remotely and manage. Succesfully originated more than $40 million dollars worth of loans over a one year period managing 30 loan officers until our bank stopped providing the specific type of lending I originated.
Raised funds the the New York State Troopers Police Benefit Association by sellin advertising space in several police publictions via cold calling businesses. Was the number one sales person for 3 consecutive years routinely generating higher average sales and sales volume than anyone else in the office.
Recruited and managed a team of over 1,000 independant representives who acquired more than 20,000 telecommunications customers in the voiceover IP industry resulting in more than $600,000 in monthly billing volume. Network marketing takes a tremendous amount of energry, effort, and belief to succeed in. Although I later came to believe I was not providing a net benefit to people's live in that industry, I learned a great deal from my time there and built some lifelong relationships.
