• Delivered age-appropriate medical care for adult, adolescent and geriatric ICU patients.
• Provide care to patients with extensive neurological injuries and maladies in neuro unit serving as referral center for northern California.
• Now assigned to Trauma ICU and routinely serve to orient new staff, act as relief charge RN, etc. We accept trauma patients from all over northern california. We recover patients straight from OR, ED, ambulance, and helicopter.
• Our unit is primary backup for COVID-19 staff and this constitutes half our time at present.

Primarily assigned to Surgical/Trauma ICU but worked as Float RN rotating between Cardiovascular ICU/Cardiac Care Unit/Emergency Department/SICU.

• Worked within interdisciplinary health care team to develop, implement and make adjustments to patient care plans, individualizing strategies and methods to improve health and meet recovery goals.
• Served as trainer, resource nurse, charge nurse, and relief nursing supervisor.
• Team Leader for Rapid Response Teams and coordinated patient room assignments throughout the ICU areas.

• Collaborated with physicians regarding patient conditions, updates and necessary care changes.
• Reviewed clinical documentation to asses standards and quality of care.
• Coordinated patient admission activities that included oversight of Environmental Services to designate priority of their work.
• Acted/served as night shift pharmacist.
• Developed training aid/resource binder for new supervisors
• Initiated reward system for nurses being floated out of their assigned areas improving morale

• Monitored patients' respiratory status and ventilator operation and made adjustments to promote stabilization.
• Started as staff RN after graduation from Nursing school and advanced to Assistant Manager.
• Charge RN/trainer/Code Blue Leader for 11-bed SICU.
• Routinely was assigned 2-3 ICU patients per shift while performing charge duties
• When work hours were changed by the hospital, developed a new work schedule that prevented an exodus of assigned staff
