Lead Welder responsible for welding and fabrication using customer supplied work orders. Maintenance and safety priorities included. Overseeing material and stock inventory.

On site welding of custom steel building erection. In house welding and fabrication of customer specified prints, as well as repair of commercial vehicles and equipment.

Responsible for 35+ crew (Local Teamsters 25 Teamsters) production department for overhead crane and material handling equipment, The position includes job delegation, mechanical engineering accuracy, quality control. Ordering material, inventory control arranging logistics for in and outbound shipments are also part of the job requirements. Duties include part of the in house safety committee and working closely with engineering, purchasing, customer service and the installation using the LEAN process.
