
I have 19 years. of Mechanical maintenance experience as Carmen with Union Pacific I repair
freight cars. In accordance with the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and (AAR) rules and
guidelines. I am responsible for inbound mechanical safety appliance inspections and outbound
air brake inspections. I perform preventive maintenance repairs using a multitude of hand tools
including but not limited to. welders, torches, grinders, shears, plasma cutters, and forklifts to
assist in moving and replacing large very heavy parts into place.
I currently hold a commercial class A CDL. License. I have operated various types of large
equipment on the farm and through my employer. For example, tractors, graders, trucks,
forklifts, backhoes, bulldozers, harvesters, rail kings, cranes, earth movers, I was furloughed for a
short period of time from UPRR and worked for the city of Umatilla public works (street
department) for 6 months. But I gained a lot of knowledge in highway maintenance tasks. I was
recalled to UPRR. In August of 2021
My family has a small farm. We raise strawberries, sweet corn, Garlic and numerous other
vegetables. We sale at the farmers markets, roadside stands, and Mercantiles. I have been
involved in Agriculture outside my Railroad career for most my life. I am very passionate about
farming in general and enjoy everything Agriculture. I am a Veteran. I served for 6 years in the
