I oversee the entire project along I-265, and I-65. This project entails deep drilled shaft foundations, and foundations for overhead cantilever, box truss, and breakaway road signs. I work directly with subcontractors, and union representatives in order to hire skilled personnel to complete the project in a timely manner, and within budget. I assist project management with four week look ahead schedules, and attend progress meetings, and meetings with INDOT. I keep daily time cards, and daily diary entries with heavy job software. I delegate tasks to foremen, and order and schedule concrete pours. this project is an INDOT project valued at $15,000,000.
Oversaw crews to make sure work was completed on time and within budget. Kept daily time cards, and completed logs. Completed two week look ahead schedules, and dealt with subcontractors. Utilized Procore software to take pictures of progress, and complete diary entries. Attended progress and schedule meetings weekly. My main focus with this company was concrete structures. This was at Morris Foreman Waste Water Treatment Plant.
I oversaw a crew involved with numerous bridge operations including pile driving, formwork for substructure(columns, footings, pier caps, stem walls, end bents/ abutments), formwork for superstructure( overhang, diaphragms, deck edges, barrier wall transitions), setting screed rail, bidwell setup, approach slabs, and deck pours. I had to read and understand contract and shop drawings in order to put quality work into place and within specifications and tolerances. Kept daily time cards and also completed daily Task Hazard Analysis forms. This project was on I-465 in Indianapolis, Indiana and West Lafayette, Indiana.
This project was a rehab of the Sherman Minton Bridge. I oversaw two carpenter foremen, and a labor foreman. I was in charge of relaying information to them for demolition and deck replacement. I attended schedule meetings, and completed daily time cards, and Job Hazard Analysis forms. I had to coordinate with structural ironworkers for setting of beams, and tying rebar for bridge deck. I reported directly to the project superintendent and construction manager daily. The tasks that my crews were involved in were formwork( overhang, deck edges, barrier wall gaps, expansion joints, soffit), setting screed rail, bidwell setup, placing and finishing concrete.
I worked on numerous projects during this time frame with Walsh which included I-74 and I-75 in Cincinnati, Ohio, I-75 in Troy, Michigan, I-84 and Route 8 in Waterbury, Connecticut. I oversaw crews installing overhang, edge forms, forming deck ends, setting screed rail, forming retaining walls, forming deck soffit, barrier wall gaps and transitions, abutment back walls, columns, pier caps, and placing and finishing concrete.
I worked on I-65 and I-265 in Louisville, Kentucky on the Kennedy Bridge and the East End Crossing, then I went to the Whittier Bridge on I-95 in Newburyport, Massachusetts.
