Traveled to students house to provide private drum lessons. Student, son of Bruce Kapler who played sax with David Letterman Band, wanted to enhance his drum set skills. Provided drum chart reading skills, playing to click track as well as building vocabulary around the drum kit utilizing knowledge of rudiments.

• Taught students ages 6 - 15 basic stick holding techniques, all 12 essential rudiments as well as comprehension of note values and percussion music nomenclature.
• Taught more advanced students understanding reaching musical charts for full drumkit session playing as well as parlaying the knowledge of rudiments to develop their own vocabulary for drum fills and solos.
• Required my students to play with metronome to hone timekeeping skills and become used to listening and playing as a crucial ingredient to being a seasoned drummer!
• Supported students in overcoming challenges by providing additional resources or guidance outside scheduled lesson times.
• Developed strong organizational skills to manage schedules efficiently, ensuring punctual delivery of lessons while accommodating scheduling adjustments as needed.
