2nd inspection techs were responsible for inspecting 40% of tires that came through conveyor system before warehousing. We had specs that were adhered to and helped define whether a tire was passable, repairable, or scrap. Kept an active tally and personalized stamp on all tires personally inspected. We were constantly trained on industry standards of quality and acceptability and were able to identify defects as small as 1 mm by eye and use specialized tools to verify.
