  • I was asked to return to Materials in January of 2023 to help a team that had very little experience and was having issues. I left my supervisory position to help the Materials team out and remain a part of that team working as a master scheduler with little to no training and no experience prior in the role.
  • Run dispatch list each morning for production teams to have current work schedules to work from. Create tabs for bonding production areas and assign appropriate priorities to the work in the areas.
  • Update all applicable information in the backlog report for Dayton facility (daily).
  • Release production orders to bonding based on available work order magnets from completed orders. Review all revs throughout the paperwork and complete FAI requirement check. Order elastomer as needed.
  • Maintain all elastomer requests and receipts for the Dayton facility inlcuding maintaining the Dayton elastomer spreadsheet and entering new requests in the Erie elastomer spreadsheet for calendared elastomer.
  • Maintain sort string items for orders that can't be released due to missing components.
  • Maintain all part schedules (435 part numbers) in SAP to ensure timely release and delivery to our customer.
  • Communicate with customer service representatives for LSO adjustments or to provide actual ship dates of the product.
  • Attend the following meetings through the course of the week: backlog (daily), stop board (daily), missing component updates (weekly), Erie press priorites (weekly), RAIL (weekly).
  • Print rework orders and split orders as needed.
  • Spend time on the floor ensuring product is moving when and where it needs to be.

  • Over the course of my career with this company, I was trained to run our chemical processing lines, blast cabinets, spray equipment, test equipment, & manual/automatic presses. I became a pressroom/test team leader and served as such for 10 years before moving into a production planning & materials position. In this role I took over procurement of all elastomer needed for our bonding operations and the coordination/scheduling of all work areas for half of our 150+ employee facility. This role led me to my current supervisory role that I began in December of 2019. In this role I supervise 2 teams across 3 different areas of operational functions as well as maintaining all previous duties from my planning role. My experience and time spent in all of the bonding production areas has allowed me to excel at a high level of planning due to my detailed knowledge of all processes and associated timelines needed. My experience in all these roles has allowed me to become a pivotal influence in ensuring our facility's success each month.
  • I have served as a member of our safety committee, our emergency response team (was trained in CPR & First Aid) and was a part of or led several Lean Manufacturing teams & projects. I am fluent in the use of SAP and blue print and technical specification interpretation.
