My experience as a coach has equipped me with strong social skills, allowing me to connect with students on a deeper level, understand their needs, and tailor my teaching approach to accommodate diverse learning styles. I recognize the importance of building a positive relationship and trust within the classroom, creating a supportive atmosphere where students feel empowered to take ownership of their learning journey.
Furthermore, my coaching background has instilled in me a deep understanding of goal-setting, feedback mechanisms, and the importance of continuous improvement. I utilize these principles to set clear objectives for my students, provide constructive feedback, and encourage them to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits.
I will complete my Clinical Practice in May 2024. I was responsible for 11th grade American History, Psychology and Sociology under the tutelage of Mr. Dillon Nerud.
