Michael Rocco

Contributed to the overall success of the varsity basketball program by consistently demonstrating strong leadership qualities, commitment, and passion for the sport.

I took the Link Crew leadership class during my junior and senior years, where I learned to be supportive of all classmates and students and developed many leadership skills.

I worked hard with my chapter of Best Buddies at Beachside High School to coordinate events and volunteer, all to support the ESE students at my school. ESE stands for Exceptional Student Education, which provides specialized instruction and support for students with disabilities or special needs.

I was a member of the National Honor Society chapter at my high school. I worked a lot within the club, volunteering, and helping to set up events.

I worked over the summer between my junior and senior years at Nothing Bundt Cakes. I handled the front desk, took customers' orders, and helped prepare decorations for the cakes.

I supervised water sport activities at a community amenity center as a summer job following my freshman year of high school. I was CPR certified for the year I held this position.
