I began employment as a 2nd shift Virus production technician, where I participated in aseptic host-cell expansion, cell maintenance, viral inoculation, viral harvesting, and viral inactivation activities, along with completion of accompanying documentation
When 2nd shift production was discontinued, I moved to the Blend department where I participated in aseptic vaccine assembly activities, and completion of documentation, as well as blend vessel maintenance and sterilization
From there, I was moved to the Central Service area, where for the past twelve years, my focus has been on maintenance, cleaning and sterilization of portable stainless steel production vessels, along with completion of accompanying documentation.
Inspected equipment to identify areas of wear or causes of malfunctions.
Observed equipment operation to diagnose and troubleshoot reported issues.
Organized work to meet demanding production goals.
Addressed routine equipment maintenance according to established schedule.
Scheduled maintenance and repair tasks in alignment with production deadlines to reduce bottlenecks.
Mentored junior technicians in maintenance, repair and reporting duties.
Tended to machines, troubleshot malfunctions and completed basic repairs to keep equipment fully functional and well-maintained.
Liaised with internal departments to optimize productivity and efficiency.
