- At Noble Casing my day to day job is Racking pipe
- We go to rigs hours away from the shop for sometimes up to 24 hours
- All standing on our feet
- We clean pipe threads to inspect the threads for imperfections in the pipe
- Being a Rack relief I'm in charge of knowing the next moves and being able to take over the job when the pusher is busy
- I was trained up to be a relief within the first 2 months of employment
- While working at Noble and being on call, I've never missed a phone call in my time of employment
- This made me more reliable to where they gave me more responsibilities like running hotshots to pick up tools or take tools to rigs
- We are forklift certified from our initial training, then with becoming a relief you are taught how to run a loader to unload pipe from pipe trucks
- Forklift use is a very common occurrence with this job, due to everything being pure steel and metal
