Summary

Dynamic Air Traffic Control Instructor with extensive experience at the FAA, skilled in designing impactful training programs and enhancing operational efficiency. Known for exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities, I thrive in high-pressure environments, fostering teamwork and collaboration to achieve safety and efficiency in air traffic operations.

I retired in 2019 with over 30 years of air traffic experience and proceeded to work two more years as a contract air traffic control instructor.

I relocated to a location that did not offer any air traffic control employment beyond full time travel positions. During my final two years with the FAA I traveled extensively as part of the implementation training team for CPDLC. After moving away from Washington Center I pursued a instructor job with a CPDLC contractor that required full time travel to the west coast. At the time I chose to focus on my retirement and not full time cross country travel.

I am now at a point in my life where full time retirement is no longer desirable and I am seeking part time or intermittent employment in air traffic control. After a long break from travel I am now willing and looking forward to using my vast air traffic control and training background whether it be remote or require travel.
