  • Used the internal requisition system in Oracle, transferred product daily between facilities in Tn, Pa, Ca, and Canada
  • Daily interpretation of data provided by the Demand Solutions Red planning system and Quickbase system to accurately provide the optimum levels of inventory needed in several U.S. distribution centers as well as in Canada and Europe.
  • Worked daily with the U.S. distribution centers to fill containers with customer orders and stock replenishment to the European warehouse
  • Entered purchase orders using the Oracle system to place orders with outside vendors for inventory levels and customer orders (ship directs)
  • Communicated with vendors via phone and e-mail to obtain best fulfillment dates for the entered purchase orders
  • Set up new parts in the Oracle system for specific customers
  • Added access to locations on existing parts in the Oracle system
  • In support, using the Demand Solutions Red and Blue planning systems, entered daily manufacturing requisitions between U.S. manufacturing facilities and their respective distribution centers
  • Worked and co-ordinated with manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Mexico to improve the on time performance for a large key chain account. At the time, on time delivery was below 40%, which rose to above 90% within a month. Effective communication with the manufacturing facilities resulted in orders shipped in excess of 95% on time and several consecutive months 100%
  • Corrected and removed inventory levels on non-moving product in the European warehouse. At the beginning of the project, the warehouse did not have available space to stock incoming product. Working in the Demand Solutions planning systems, inventory levels were adjusted along with the replenishment levels on many of the stocked parts. The new levels resulted in a reduction of over $250,000.00 US dollars, the lowest inventory levels to date at that time in the warehouse while improving on time shipping %
