Roles And Responsibilities

  • Maintain adequate parts inventory while minimizing obsolescence
  • Maintain proper reporting and financial controls to ensure adherence to all practices and policies
  • Maintain an accurate and efficient inventory control system
  • Formulate plans for continuous improvement
  • Manage employee performance impact on CSI scores
  • Supervising the shipment issues of parts ordered
  • Manage the Ford RIM orders and returns
  • Works with multiple manufactures obsolescence returns
  • Direct shipping and receiving efforts to ensure timely processing
  • Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence
  • Supervises stock order procedures
  • Ensuring the inventory levels are maintained accurately
  • Order parts/supplies from multiple manufactures and suppliers
  • Purchase parts/supplies from local suppliers with electronic purchase orders
  • Receive invoices from the manufacture and supplier and confirm correct accounts are billed per purchase order
  • Work with accounting department to make sure the amounts match on invoices received from outside vendors where products may be purchased
  • Check availability of product before order is placed to determine order priority
  • Check on all orders placed daily for backorders or other special circumstances that would require further action to receive product
  • Work with suppliers to upgrade to critical or procure product from another facility when necessary
  • Follow up on products not received when they are due in to see if further action is required
  • Track any inventory discrepancies and make changes when needed
  • Perform inventory counts monthly to track discrepancies
  • Assist in looking at suggested stock orders to make sure stock is available
  • Ship parts to other dealers through a dealer to dealer request
  • Update service dispatcher/advisor daily of parts availability
  • Post and track lost sales to determine stocking level of parts
  • Update and maintain ADP database system to ensure inventory and other important information is complete and accurate.
  • Experience working with ADP/CDK database with past experience in Reynolds and Reynolds database system.
