Duties and responsibilities:

• Attend work within the proper uniform standards as prescribed by the Chicago Police Department.
• Ensure Police Officers are on time for Roll Call with the same standards.
• Equipment is to be procured in order for the Officers to perform their duties in Patrol.
• While in the field, Officers have to be logged and their calls for service are to be monitored.
• Reports must be reviewed, approved or rejected in a timely manner.
• After the shift, all Officers and equipment must be accounted for.
• Occasional discipline has to be enforced as well as court attendance and training compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• EAP/Peer Support Team leader has to manage a team of Officers in order to assist Officers in need.
• When major incidents occur in the city CPIC notifies the Team Leader on Call in order to respond to situations (officers stripped, injured, etc).
• Ensure members of the team are active with assisting fellow members and their families when in need.
• Delegate responsibilities to members during St. Jude, Roll Call trainings and call-outs.
• Assist BIA when officers are being stripped at headquarters.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Attend Roll call within the prescribed uniform standards of the Chicago Police Department.
• Patrol the City Of Chicago and assist citizens professionally without bias.
• Complete reports and inventories in a timely manner before the end of the shift.
• Engage enforcement action when needed without excessive force respective of the Sanctity of human life.
• Attend court for arrests made in the field.
• Return all equipment procured upon the beginning of the shift.
• Live a life unsullied in and out of the field.
• Maintain proper mental and physical health.

Duties and responsibilities of a CIT Instructor:

• Lesson plans had to be completed and updated.
• Classrooms and monitors/projectors were modified and utilized for instructors.
• Role Players from NAMI were requested for scenario-based learning in the Academy as well as off-site apartment models.
• Billing was maintained for food ordered for graduation purposes.
• PowerPoint lessons were reviewed and presented before Supervisors of the CIT unit prior to the class presentations.
• Graduation certificates were printed, recorded and submitted for credit.
• A healthy classroom learning environment had to be maintained in order for the retainment of information and structure.
• We had to work with EAP as a liaison to assist with helping persons in a Mental Health Crisis.
• Weapons were secured in lockers during class sessions and scenarios.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Present myself to PPOs within the prescribed uniform standards of the Chicago Police department.
• Ensure the PPO in training is within the proper uniform standards of the Chicago Police department.
• Check to confirm the PPO has their Police ID, loaded weapon and sobriety.
• Establish the proper relationship between the FTO and PPO in terms of expectations.
• Review the grading and observation matrix for the pass/fail algorithm.
• Submit recommendations at the end of every tour for consistency.
• Generate a remedial session if a PPO was not up to standard by the third cycle of training.
• After training, stay in touch with the PPO to ensure consistency with minimal issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Attend work on time.
• Maintain a clean work station.
• Answer calls from citizens in a professional manner in order to complete reports or provide information respectively.
• Keep a healthy level of cordiality with fellow Officers at work.
• Always submit our reports for approval prior to the end of our shift.
