  • Serve as primary point of contact for all organizational supervisor activities.
  • To include all bids with vendors, purchase orders with vendors (10-15 annually), receiving and inspection reports with products to complete purchase orders, travel for events (6 different events for LE officers from all 4 regions of SCDNR and Hunter Education and Outreach sections to include 100 officers and staff) and originate all schedule/shifts for officers at events.
  • Develop effective training and procedures for officers to ensure smooth operation of responsibilities before and during events.
  • Management of shifts and officers to maximize efficiency of time during event to finish on or before schedule, in a safe manner (15 to 35 officers per event).
  • Provide administrative support to upper staff by conducting financial analysis on budget requests and generating reports for senior management review.
  • Process customer invoices and payments promptly to ensure accurate and timely payment to vendors.
  • Manage and oversee acceptance and distribution of $75,000 to $100,000 in scholarship funding annually (incoming and outgoing funds).
  • Find, complete and submit grant requests for SCTS program.
  • Responsible for coordination of SCDNR’s Scholastic Clay Target Sports (SCTS) shooting events that are held throughout S.C. (currently 9 events, approx. 1,750 students).
  • Manage and supervise all attending officers (except ranking staff) at SCTS events to include: shift assignments, breaks, training for event, lodging, meals and challenges that arise during event.
  • Coordinate regional and championship events related to clay sports in Skeet, Trap and Sporting Clay disciplines for clubs and schools to compete.
  • Schedule and instruct shotgun certifications for Law Enforcement Officers for SCDNR and coaches with SCTS program to build teams and enable more youth to participate in the sport.
  • Assist NASP, TOMO and Hunter Education programs with their events and clinics throughout the year and other Law Enforcement duties when scheduled.
  • Keep all current certifications up to date in reference to program and Law Enforcement certifications.
  • Participated in continuous firearms proficiency, defensive driving and arrest technique training.
