As a member of the baseball teams at both UWM and College of DuPage, I have learned valuable leadership skills. I have been a captain and a member of teams who others look up to in order to set a good example. I have worked and formed connections with many teammates and coaches, sharpening my communication and public speaking skills along the way. Most of all I have had to deal with lots of adversity throughout my career. Several surgeries have forced me to rehab and start from scratch, and each time I have worked to come back stronger and better from it. I choose to look at these moments of my career as tests of my adversity and will to continue to show up and be consistent with my work ethic.
