
I was born into the meat industry my father and grandfather were part time meat cutters in grocery stores. Together they started our family business the year I was born. 51 years later having now owned the business for 25 years I am stepping back and allowing the next generation to take over. Upon seeing the job opportunity for a part time meat instructor and having spare time I was excited to apply. The teaching I have done either for drivers education, hunters safety, and a few classes on consumer education I have enjoyed. I believe that my background and working my way up from the bottom to the owner of a successful meat business involved in retail, custom processing, and the wholesaling of meats gives me a unique position from which I can draw from learned skills and personal experience.
