  • Plan, organize, and direct 6 fire stations in all aspects of suppression, medical response and preparedness including planning, management, training and community outreach.
  • Create, train, implement, and oversee department's response to emergencies, natural disasters, environmental/industrial accidents, and other catastrophic incidents.

  • Command Staff Chief overseeing $35 million annual budget, commanding Bureau of Engineering, Bureau of Equipment, Facilities, and Management, and Logistics Center.

  • Directed marketing, outreach, and informational briefings for public safety bond, securing $412 million in funding.

  • Chief of all water supply: dedicated underground hydrant system, fireboats, and all relevant facilities including maintenance, dry dock repairs, and capital improvements.

  • Representative on Traffic Advisory Safety Committee planning city-wide traffic calming and transit corridors.
