  • Extensive experience in programming and configuring of hardware/software of Cisco Routers and Switches, Encryption devices (KG 250 [x], SecNet 54), Shout, Cisco Call Manager, Network Accelerator, Print Devices, Scanning Devices, Windows Operating System and Windows Server 2003, CCT-120 satellite antenna, Tandberg video teleconferencing hardware, IEP (Initial Entry Package), EEP (Early Entry Package), SC2IP and VX-400 (Voice compression), Line-Of-Sight (LOS) RF radios and other various multi-channel.
  • Engineers and designs router-to-router connections utilizing military and commercial protocols while also determining operational, technical and support requirements for the location, installation, operation and maintenance of network equipment and systems.
  • Performs design and engineering of data and voice networks carried over various transmission systems such as multichannel satellite, troposphere scatter systems, Line-Of-Sight (LOS) RF radios, LOS laser radios, and cable systems, copper as well as Fiber Optic.
  • Plans and designs Wide Area Networks (WANs) consisting of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and also Military Specification (MILSPEC) components to provide support for the customer.
  • Provide core network services by designing, configuring, installing and managing data services at both the systems hardware and software levels, over multiple secure platforms.
  • Provide core network transmission by installing, configuring, and implementing satellite transmission devices over various transmission systems using a Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) – Swedish .9, 1.2, and 1.5 meter antennas using X-band and Ku-Band frequencies, Line-Of-Sight (LOS) RF radios.
  • Responsible for acquiring resources from different agencies to support the customer and training networks when needed.
  • Provides technical guidance and direction for different aspects of radio frequency spectrum analysis to the warfighter.
  • Provides operational, technical and support requirements for the location, installation, operation and maintenance of network equipment and systems.
  • Works to correct network and transmission deficiencies in planned or currently operational networks.
  • Responsible for mobilization readiness of section personnel and equipment.
  • Managed and maintain all operational equipment to maintain 100 % operational readiness.
  • Plan and oversight for UTA activities ie, COMEX, Troop readiness, and training classes.
  • Manage 20 troops ensuring they are 100 % deployment ready to include PHA, PME, Promotions, Career skill levels met, and personal grow inside the military service and outside the military service.
