I began as a patrol officer with this department. I quickly obtained the confidence of senior staff and was later recognized as a shift leader. I promoted to the rank of Detective and then to Detective Sergeant. I was the first Controlled Voice Stress Analyst with the Niceville Police Department. I transitioned to a road Sergeant where I excelled and climbed to the rank of Lieutenant and then to Captain. I was Second in command while holding the Captain position with the responsibility of overseeing all operations of the department.
