My first opportunity in the medical professional field started as a Medical Records Clerk in 2001 and from there I grew a serious passion to serve others needs. As I adapt to the office environment, I was hooked. It was clear helping others was a part of my higher calling and as I continue to get better and more educated . I enjoy multitasking, problem solving, coordinating projects and collaborating with others to accomplish the company goals. I am a team player in any capacity and can adapt to changes if need be. In 2011 I enhance my medical education by attending ATA Career Education College where I graduated with a 3.47 GPA In Medical Billing and Medical Coding.I am currently HIPAA certified and has achieved many courses that pertains to my Career diploma such as Insurance Basics,Technology in Healthcare, Health Ethics,Health privacy, PHI,Government and State compliances and regulations . I begin as a Customer Services Rep with Access2care/ GMR on 6/1/2014 was then promoted to a Lead Care Coordinator representative in 2016. My next promotion I became a part of the company operations team in 2021 where I held the title of Medical Affairs Education Liaison assisting care coordination management. I have been apart of Access2Care operations team under the Care Coordination Department for five years working with dozens of medical health plans throughout the South Eastern region of the US. I am proficient in training care coordination new hires and also perform interviews for new hires with the care coordination Department. Overseen many project and travel to acute and non acute facilities representing my employer Access2Care as a POC. In 2024 Access2Care my most recent employer decided to sale the company and after some careful considerations I decided to move on during the company's transitioning in February of 2025. I have been a ordain license Baptist minister since 2009 which I believe can be a benefit to me and to those around me.
