At Compeer, I work with a variety of tools, including. LogRhythm SIEM, Sentinel SIEM, Azure Cloud, Microsoft Security Suites, Cribl, Nessus, Cisco Secure Network, and ServiceNow SIR and VIR modules.

I primarily manage the Tenable.SC and SIEM instance. Doing some web application and network penetration testing. Building out a SOC and Security Operations department.

Implementing security practices from on-premise to cloud infrastructure, and learning and managing the tools used on both.

Training junior members of the Security Operations team as an expert in all areas of security.

• I worked as a federal contractor for the United States Postal Service in their Vulnerability Manager Department.
• My primary focus was Tenable.SC scanning and vulnerability management.
• Web application testing with DAST tools.
• Some limited penetration testing.
• Integrating Splunk and Nessus to provide reports to USPS leaders.
• Working with the Security Operations team to report vulnerabilities discovered throughout the enterprise.
• Developed a custom interface with Python for Nessus and Splunk integrations.

• Working in a Security Operations Center. Managing the SIEM and Security Event investigations. Tuning security tools and monitoring for security event.

• As a systems engineer with Datalink (Insight Global), I worked in their Managed Monitoring department. Using a monitoring platform to monitor customers' systems. Creating custom monitoring dashboards and escalations.
