I participate in, assist with, and respond to emergent repairs as well as routine maintenance and inspections at St. Joseph and Candler campuses and outlying properties. I ensure that the work that is done is in compliance with Joint Commission, state of Georgia, and hospital standards. I serve as a liaison between construction/plant ops and outside vendors and contract labor. I take pride with my good report and communication with all hospital departments within the healthcare system. My duties include, but are not limited to, drywall repair, paint, flooring installation, cabinet repair, plumbing, electrical, coordinating with vendors for scheduling and utilizing labor and project pricing, and apprenticing under two veteran foreman.

My duties included the day to day management of personnel, resource utilization, budget management and development, property improvement, heavy equipment maintenance, keeping accurate maintenance logs, environmental law compliance, communicating and price negotiation with outside contractors, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, hazmat and chemical storage and cleanup response, and maintaining a good working relationship with local and seasonal workers. My employer also had multiple medical and veterinary clinics. I was also engaged in maintenance and modification of those buildings.

Responsible for daily operation and machine process support tasks related to an OSB press and forming line. Adhering to Norbord and OSHA safety procedures while keeping production at the highest rate possible. Reporting possible near miss accidents and mitigating situations to avoid down employee injury and down time. I was an active participating member of their safety committee. My role included locating, reporting, repairing, improving, and responding to all hazards within the workplace. I utilized specialized safety equipment and PPE for all duties within the job description as well as those not specified.

Responsible for the overall management and day to day operation of 1,877-acre world class quail hunting preserve, including historic 7,334-square-foot antebellum home, 4 guest homes and guest cabin, sporting-dog kennel facility, 3 large stocked lakes, boating docks, lighted five-stand sporting clays course, and multiple wildlife habitats. I was responsible for all aspects of employee relations for the property's staff and labor such as recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling and payroll. Other responsibilities included conservation planning, building maintenance, hunt coordination, guest entertainment and safety, budget management, accounts receivables/payables and general bookkeeping.
