Michaela Dunbar

I am currently enrolled in Madison College's Biotechnology Program and am expected to graduate this Spring of 2025. I am actively pursuing my passion for innovation through hands-on classes that require 15-20 hours of laboratory per week. I am developing my laboratory skills and expanding my knowledge in this field through professional development courses and working as a laboratory assistant for the program.

Additionally, with three years of retail industry experience, I have developed strong communication and teamwork skills. I have also gained experience in training fellow employees in a leadership role. Additionally, my two years of experience in healthcare has allowed me to interact with individuals of diverse age groups and backgrounds, ranging from 40 to 105 years old. I catered to a wide range of needs, including stroke and memory care, cancer, spinal cord injuries, and companionship. This experience significantly improved my ability to effectively communicate and connect with people.
