- The divisions include the Student Assessment and Data Strategy office, which collects and reports information about Washington's public school student learning, and the Educator Growth and Development office, which ensures access to high-quality professional learning opportunities to support teachers, principals, and other school leaders throughout the career continuum.
- Oversees Special Education and related services on behalf of more than 130,000 eligible students in Washington.
- Oversees Federal Accountability and Student Safety and Support that work to ensure an equitable approach to the learning of all students.
- Oversees Secondary and Elementary divisions, early learning, and CTE to ensure student learning meets rigorous learning standards.
- Responsible for overseeing global delegations, including overseas trips to Switzerland and Taiwan, as well as receiving delegations from South Korea, Japan, and Mexico.
- Responsible for the oversight of $1.5 billion in state and federal grants and contracts, in addition to executive support of the $16.5 billion in funding to public schools.

- Managed the distribution of $5.7 million in pilot grants, evaluation resource support, and communication and outreach to education stakeholders, superintendents, and legislators.
