Work History

Senior Sales Manager

Mighty Wash Car Wash
Lubbock, Texas
06.2023 - 08.2024

Responsibilities included improving marketing strategies and the exponential growth of membership sales, training new sales associates on methods to interact with customers and earn repeated business. I would often be assigned to stores that needed improvement in sales and customer service. Customer retention was the focus. I was the company leader in sales from the beginning of my employment, and I assisted in training sales associates on methods to build rapport with customers and explain the advantages of getting a monthly membership by overcoming objections. When on site, I would be the assistant store manager, which included learning and mastering every job at the store.

Sales/Service Agent & Retention Specialist

VXI Global Solutions LLC
Lubbock, TX
08.2018 - 01.2020

As an inbound sales and service agent, I quickly built a strong relationship with customers by being friendly and focused on fact-finding. By gathering information from the customer and analyzing it, I would identify the best AT&T and/or DirecTV package to accommodate their needs. Providing detailed product information was a catalyst in upselling products. By actively listening to the customer and engaging on prompt selling points, I assured the closing of sales. Customer retention involves actively listening and overcoming obstacles by explaining the benefits in detail, which would substantiate the need for our products and services, thus outweighing the loss of them. Creating a dynamic dialogue was paramount in earning the trust of the customer and retaining their lifelong business.

Wind Turbine Technician

Harvest Energy Services
Boulder, Colorado
05.2017 - 08.2018

Responsibilities included preventative maintenance and operations management, following safety protocol, understanding wind turbine terminology, and electrical troubleshooting. As a level-one technician, a majority of maintenance consisted of torquing and tensioning bolts, generator realignment, lubricant application to gears and bolts, performance analysis of a variety of working parts, and performing necessary repairs to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Electrical troubleshooting required the use of a multimeter to obtain accurate readings, to address potential electrical issues, and to prevent the possibility of them. Understanding electrical theory, such as Ohm’s law, Lin’s law, voltage readings, conductivity, and continuity. Safety protocol is the most important, such as understanding the proper applications of safety apparatuses to assure the constant safety of oneself and others. This was a traveling position, which also required conducting inventory analysis of all assigned tools and equipment before and after work at each site, and reporting data to upper management.

Demonstrated automobiles by explaining the characteristics, capabilities, and features, taking test drives, and analyzing customer needs, explaining warranties and services. Closed sales by overcoming objections, negotiating price, completing sales or purchase contracts, explaining provisions, and offering warranties, services, and financing. Collected payment and delivered the automobile.
