Seeking opportunities in Environmental Engineering that put to use the knowledge I gained from my rigorous course of study and the skills I acquired working in teams to gain a sense of career paths. I will bring the perseverance I demonstrated by graduating from high school and fulfilling my community service requirements on time, completing internships with NASA and the US Naval research facility and competing on the 2024 State Championship Track Team after experiencing a major medical crisis in the middle of my Junior year.

Volunteer Experience

Logan Circle Community Association (LCCA), Washington, DC, 2022-2024

  • Volunteer, Monthly Neighborhood Cleanups. Thoroughly searched school and park grounds for trash. Made sure bagged trash was dropped off at collection point in time to be weighed and hauled away.
  • Goblin Wrangler, Annual Little Goblin Parade. Represented LCCA distributing treats to kids at a restaurant on the parade route. With my help, this restaurant was able to support the parade and still keep its paid staff focused on business operations.

Bread for the City, Washington, DC, 09/2022

  • Volunteer, Northwest Food Pantry. Packed grocery bags to be delivered to Washington families in need.

  • Canada. Family trip to Niagara Falls and historic Niagara-on-the-Lake. With family, witnessed majesty and power of the falls.
  • Ethiopia. Family trip to Addis Ababa, Lalibela, Axum, Gondar. Toured UNESCO World Heritage sites. Hiked Semien Mountain, walked with a herd of Gelada monkeys found only in Ethiopian Highlands.
  • Acadian National Park, ME; Scranton, PA; Buffalo, NY. Family hiked Cadillac Mountain in Acadia during remnants of Hurricane Ida, visited filming sites of "The Office" in Scranton, ate Buffalo Wings in Buffalo.
  • Cayman Islands and Jamaica. Senior Class Cruise
