Video games and game development fascinate me to no end. Much like someone who gets lost in a good story, video games have entire worlds and characters and adventures that you can explore and the choices are yours...not the author's.

As a game developer, I love the thrill of seeing my ideas come to life and then sharing those ideas with other people that they may enjoy the experiences as well.

Roller skating is pure release for me. I love being able to coast on eight wheels with minimal effort. Simple steps yet they take me so far. And then when a really good song comes on the speakers, I have to go fast. I absolutely love skating fast and relying upon my skill and reflexes to maneuver around others.

Bowling is a great pastime for me as I get to calmly plan for my next turn at the lane. I enjoy the thoughtful patience required to put all the necessary steps and hand orientation into motion to get the ball down the lane precisely as needed. It's not a game of speed but of detailed mental and physical coordination.

Biblical studies, children, and relationships are all intertwined as I fully believe in the creative nature of God and how He designed human beings to grow and relate with one another. It is fascinating to unpack the various aspects of how people - particularly children - learn to see the world and also the dynamics of men and women complimenting each other while being so different. It is awe-inspiring to my heart and mind. And to think that God did all for our benefit and His joy.
