Michael Shane Arnold

I have currently been a shift serviceman in the Madison network since November of 2022. I have been with Entergy MS for 9 years now. I hired in and started in the Vicksburg network. Prior to being hired on with Entergy, I worked on distribution and construction crews for 3 years at Yazoo Valley EPA . In coming to Entergy, I started as an apprentice, where I excelled from my previous experience. I was signed off on by my piers and was able to make journeyman lineman after 20 months. I tested out and completed Entergy apprentice program early. From there I went to the Madison network and was a lineman on a crew for several years. During that time, I was asked to be on the health and safety advisory board where I led the Madison network's safety meetings and served as its safety leader. From there I transferred from Madison to the Lexington network where I worked for a year and a half on the distribution crews. From there I transferred back to Madison as a Lineman First class before transferring into the service department where I currently preside as a shift serviceman.

In my years in Madison I have served as Sr lineman, where I was in charge of electrical distribution crews and day to day job duties of overhead and underground electrical construction, repairs and troubleshooting. I am very hardworking, punctual, and trustworthy. I believe in safety being the highest priority for me and my fellow co workers. I believe no job is so important or urgent that it cannot be done safely and to Energy's safety standards .
