After becoming disabled, I am now ready to re-enter the workforce, and want to put my skills and training to good use in the medical field.
I can bring to the table a great positive attitude, ability to multitask and work independently, and the knowledge specific to the medical transportation industry.
After completing the EMT Program at Tri-County Tech in 2019, I lost my leg to Osteomyelitis, brought on by Septicemia.
This left me physically handicapped, and unable to perform the duties of an EMT.
After my leg amputation surgeries, I underwent several months of physical therapy, learned how to walk again, and received my first prosthetic leg in 2021. With my prosthetic, I am now fully mobile, and can perform all physical requirements of this position.
