i started my electrical career roughly 9 years ago with Wallace Electric, initially doing modular installations such as service build out's and lighting controls. i worked there for 5 years while going through the IEC apprenticeship trade school for 4 years. in 2019 i joined the union and went to work for Allison smith on a college dorm in Athens where i did all of the lighting controls on all 10 floors. i was required to do one year of schooling through the union apprenticeship before i could gain my Journeyman wireman credentials. in 2020 i moved to Facebook Data center in social Circle Georgia where i currently still work. They quickly made me foreman and i ran a night shift crew at our prefab shop, where we built all the underground cages for our medium voltage ductbanks and lighting control boards. After 6 months i moved back to site where i was put over all Slab on grade for (2) 400,000 Square ft. buildings where i managed a crew of about 10 people. After i finished the slabs of 2 buildings i was bumped up to Lead Foreman over the lighting in Both buildings and managed 2 Foreman and about 20 guys under them. last year i got promoted again to General foreman of all Mechanical and Branch installations on the site. i have 3 foreman and roughly 40 men below them. my job involves constant meetings with Meta on scheduling and man power, while also planning for material and weekly tasks for my men. i am currently working on getting my master electrical un restricted license.
