Ensures that the Production Operators in the area adhere to all relevant cGMP, Quality Systems standards and specifically with FDA Quality System Regulation.
In the event of non-adherence or deviation from these SOP's/standards ensure that both corrective and preventative actions are carried out.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of equipment and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Ensures that the Production Operators in the area adhere to all HSE standards, lead in HSE activities, helping to identify root cause, raising solutions through to completion using your extensive knowledge of area and regulations.
Responsible for key area results and reporting of activities such as Safety, Overtime, Productivity, Schedule Adherence, CAPA and Training Completion.
Achieve production plan and targets by scheduling and assigning personnel; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules, and resolving problems effectively and efficiently (within budget) within the area.
Responsible for the day-to-day people management of the Production Operators such as employee disciplinary action, performance management (including Mid & End Year evaluations) and managing attendance.
Responsible in conjunction with Production Manager and Training Coordinator for skills assessment, performance improvement, coaching and the identification of training/development needs of the team members.
Responsible in conjunction with Sr. Production Manager and Human Resources for recruitment of Production Operators and inducting new team members.
Leads Continuous Improvement activities, drive improvements through regular meetings/reviews of work area, processes and ways of working, to meet required standard in accordance with procedures and production schedule.
Demonstrates an understanding of area/machine KPl's by maintaining and analyzing equipment/process performance records; ensuring performance information is correctly recorded, identifying trends and issues escalating when necessary.
Computes amounts of raw materials and components required for operations, based on production schedules, and ensures required supplies are available as needed.
Investigates and prepares Investigation reports as needed.
