In 2019, as a squad leader with the 244th Maryland Engineer Company, I was tasked with leading a coalition of engineer units from the Navy and Army to support the Joint Special Forces in Afghanistan. Our mission was to construct four three-story buildings that would serve as a coalition command post for U.S. forces and the Afghan government. Despite the challenges and demanding working conditions, we completed the project within the timeline, earning praise and appreciation from the high-ranking joint forces officers stationed at the compound, Our mission was completed  within the given  deadline, and the work was praised and appreciated by the compound's high-ranking joint forces officers
